ダイアルと並んで、パーカーの絶頂期を記録したのがサボイ。 音質的には、ダイアルよりサボイのほうが良いので、 より、チャーリー・パーカーを身近に感じられる。 最初に買ったのは、マスターテイクを集めた２枚組のLP。 これが最初に買ったパーカーのレコードだった。 ダイアルと同じく、別テイクを含むコンプリート盤が存在をする。 同じ曲のテイクごとのソロの違いが楽しめる。 また、ダイアルとは違い、パーカーや他のミュージシャン、 プロデューサーが話している様子まで収録されているので、 録音風景を見学しているような気分になれる。 サボイ録音にも、自分のレパートリーにしてる曲が数多くある。 以下の曲をやっている。 I'll Always Love You Just The Same Romance Without Finance Billie's Bounce Warming Up A Riff = Cherokee Now's The Time Thriving From A Riff = I got Rhythm Meandering = Embraceable You Ko-Ko = Cherokee Donna Lee = Back home again in Indiana Bluebird Klauntsance = The Way You Look Tonight Bird Gets the Worm = Lover Come Back To Me というわけで、俺的好きなアルバムランキングで第２位。 正直、ダイアルとの差は僅差。 内容的には、ダイアルと全く同等の素晴らしさと言える。
