先週の土曜に、朝放送で使ってるギターの裏板とサイドが外れていた部分を接着修理した。 バインディングを外してみたら、５箇所も外れていた。 全部接着して本来の音がよみがえった。 ついでに、ネック反りにより使えなかった１６フレット以降のフレットを全部引き抜いた。 これにより音詰まりがかなり解消した。 サウンドサンプル

ということで、自宅での放送について考えた。 夜枠をする場合、１日１枠、７時３０分頃から８時頃までにする。 そして演る曲や音量に関しても、 バラードをポロポロ弾き語る程度にする。 ま、自宅でもやり始めた当初は、そうしてたわけで、 だんだん横着になってきてただけの話。 エレクトリック・ギターを使う講座枠や雑談は、今まで通り。 別に階下から苦情が来たわけでも何でもないが、 自分が加害者側になってはいけないなと。

結構いろんな人に聞かれるので紹介しよう。 使っているのは、Martin M130 Silk & Steel という弦。 いわゆる「コンパンド弦」というやつで、巻き弦にナイロンが入っている。 使い始めたきっかけは、Django Reinhardt がコンパンド弦を使っていたからだ。 一発で気に入り、以降１５年ぐらい、この弦しか使っていない。 とてもしなやかな弾き心地で、音の表現力が高い。 アコギに張る弦としては、これ以外考えられない。

まず、ギターの弾き方とか演奏が変態なのに、 まともな歌詞を乗せようとしてること自体が間違ってるんやわ。 でも、歌詞まで変態にするのは気が引ける。 俺は作詞に関しては全く自信がない。 俺は詩人ではない。 言葉で何かを伝えたいなんてことは、何もない。 むしろ音で伝えたいと思っている。 「伝えたいこと」という曲を作ってるが、ずっと白紙のままだ。 インストにして、曲の終わりの方で、「ない」とボソっと言って終わろうか。
