Subway over the rainbow

6日の日曜日にサブウェイパフォーマーをやってきた。着いたときには既に数人の常連さんが来てくれてて嬉しかった。4年ぶりに合うミュージシャンの友達も来てくれて嬉しかった。最近忙しくて十分に準備ができなかったけど、なんとかええ感じでできたと思う。マンネリを避けるため、前回やらなかった曲達を選んだ。今回は少しリラックスしてできたと思う。

終演後は来てくれた友達と楽しく話した。めっちゃ暑い日でクタクタに疲れたし、右親指にひどい血豆ができたけど、とても楽しい一日だった。帰ってからは、もう次のサブウェイライブのセットリストを考えている。どうやらライブに対するモチベーションは戻ってきたようだ。

I did my second subway gig on Sunday the 6th. I was so glad to see some familiar faces already there when I arrived, and a musician friend I hadn’t seen in four years also came. I've been very busy lately, so I didn’t have much time to prepare for the gig, but I think I did all right. I chose songs I hadn’t played at the last gig to avoid repetition. I think I was able to relax a little more this time.

After the gig, I talked with my friends. I think we all had a good time. It was an extremely hot day, and I was so beat, and my right thumb got a nasty blister—but I really enjoyed the day. I'm already working on the setlist for the next subway gig. I think my motivation for the gigs is back now.
